I JUST ORDERED A RADEON 9700PRO FROM THEM AND THEY SENT ME A BOOK IN A BOX THAT HAD NOTHIGN TO DO WITH THE RADEON...THEY f(*$% JIPPED ME...

I AM SO INFURIATED RIGHT NOW I AM PREPARED TO GO DOWN THERE AND KILL THEM ALL...

BUT FOR NOW THE ONLY THING I COULD DO IS WARN EVERYONE ELSE



EDIT: THE FRAUD WAS IN UPS>.... IT NOW HAS TO BE LOOKED INTO BY THEM, NOT THE COMPANY

anyway, i just spent an hour on the phone with ups, its not the company, it happened within ups....the package left the company at 3lbs and now it is only 1 1/2 lbs..

so the company is not at fault for that i apologize...but i am extrememly offended that you two think i am bs'ing you


i was just trying to do the right thing...


yes it was delivered to me yesterday, but i couldnt open it today until i got my report card via my father's orders

Why going crazy? You said UPS fessed up to it? I assume they will fix it if they admitted to it?


So someone at UPS had to open the box, take the radeon box out, open it, take the card and everything out, replace it all with a book...and deliver it to you. All the while UPS "knows" about the problem.

Pretty wacky. Um good luck getting your card back.

Dude, settle down and don't act like a kid. I'd me mad too but ups admitted to it so it's up to them to replace the card.
 
they didnt admit to it yet....but that has to be what happened

or else this company is an expert at covering themselves (i.e. they have a fake ups number which i highly doubt) cause he connected me to ups i didnt call them myself

i never heard your full story.all i heard was what was at the top in your first post and as i have made posts in your threads,i had read them,i was curious as to why you ordered two cards.a better explaination from you would have cleared up my questions and made you look less foolish.but assuming i am a moron because i asked for clarification?doesn't seem like something is right here.

in the future try to be more clear when stating the problems at hand,people are less likely to jump to the wrong conclusion,and try to be civil in your dealings you may find it helps.

did you weigh it?or was it marked 1 1/2 lbs. that would tell you if it was shipped at 3lbs the label should reflect this.

im sorry for lashing out at you wolf, u have my apology... but u must understand my situation, $326 is not a small amount to lose for me...


My dad is in washington so i have to deal with it he said... i put a hold on the payment through the cc company



and i never ordered 2 cards, this is the one and only.... i never opened the box itself like i may have lead u to believe... i only opened the ups box to make sure that the radeon box was inside...my mistake there...

the radeon box was inside, but inside the box was a book called "the power of limits" which obviously was put in there by someone trying to screw me.
 
i understand your situation i paid 400 for mine and went through 2 days trying to get the first one to work before returning it.
i even paid tech's to install it but to no avail(got my money back since they couldn't get it working)returned the card and volla

a few weeks ago i had a ebay deal turn sour ups's fault?a 21inch monitor arrived cracked and i had to fight the charges and return ship it since the seller wanted me to deal with ups(insured in his name)

yeah i saw that too, the company is legit that i know i just dont know what happened, whether it was an employee or someone at ups or what...cause the manager is for real, that i was able to figure out

Regardless of what may have happened, saying something like this on a public forum is quite foolish and can lead to insurmountable problems in court! Two wrongs definitely don't make a right...

Reading this thread, I am also curious why stryder ordered a second card. That still hasn't been answered.

If I was stryder (I am assuming he is young to mid teens), I would have my father call the company and see what they have to say. Then depending on how that went his father would probably contact UPS.

This all sounds odd to me. Was the package noticeably previously opened?
 
if i were dsz i would read all the posts to find what he is looking for 😉

Btw, if you now believe that the company is legit, you might consider changing the thread title...also, I agree that making "death threats" -even in jest- in this day and age is not the brightest thing to do!
