Had this citi card for over 6 years. Found some unauthorized activities on my account and they are sending me a new card.
Is this going to hurt my credit?

By the way it is going to take them a month to refund me back the money. What credit card companies does it instantly? This is B.S.

I honestly don't know, but it'd be absolutely stupid if it did.

Your account doesn't follow the numbers on your card. I once returned something with a new card, same account, different numbers and it worked out fine.

There were some Fraud charges done on my card. Some asswipe went on a spree at Home Depot, Walmart in southern Cal. I contacted Capital One and they took their sweet time cancelling the card however they did tell me that I would not be liable for any charges. After I talked to CapitalOne, the guy made another 7 big purchases over the next 5 days on my card and while CapitalOne knew about it, they wouldn't do anything since the dept that handles the card cancellations has to go through 'proper procedure' before the card is cancelled. :Disgust; They did return the money back to me though it took a few weeks.
