Frasier run over.

How hard is acting that they pay you $2 million an episode? How many hours do you work a week, day?

It's not how hard you act, it's how well you are liked by the audience. If a show is consistently in the top 5 of shows watched that night, the actor has a TON of leverage in price negotiations. Grammer IS Frasier. There is no replacing him. If he walks, the show is a loss. So instead of losing all those viewers, and ultimately the millions upon millions of advertising revenue that they pull in, NBC must meet the demands of the star.

that show has had some moments that made me chuckle when it first came out
but its worn out its welcome.
and yes, i thought this thread about about the actor kelsey grammar getting ran over by a car.

Not hardly. They can either choose to pay him or not, weighing his salary versus what he brings in. Where's the extortion?

Well, if the show is selling $10 million in ads per episode who should get the money ?

anyone else come into this thread thinking frasier got run over?

Haha I did too.

Yeah me too, and then I read the second post about $2 million buying a lot of coke and I thought he was high when it happened! Stop screwing with my head! Meh!

Meh, they jumped the shark when Niles and Daphne got together. Niles was a much funnier character when he was with Maris or single. Frasier's character development just stopped 3 years ago. And Roz is just annoying now.
