When my Creative FPS2000s bit the dust a few months ago, I bit on the Buy.com $60 shipped price for Logitech Z2200 2.1s, hoping I wouldn't the surround.
Well, I did miss it, but was stuck with the Z2200s which really kick out the jams, just not in surround.
So I went to Best Buy and got Bose Companion 2.0s for satellites, plugged them into the rear channel of my Audigy2, put an extension cable between them to get them separated a long way, a voila': 4.1 sound for the unimpressive price of $165..
It's sounds pretty good, and is definitely a unique speaker setup. The Bose speakers definitely add to the mid an high range of the Logitechs.
