Hi-- new to the forum, so I hope I have the right group here...

Been using macs for 12 year or so for video production and animation and it's time again to upgrade. I was considering the mac tube when it comes out, but I've also been considering (with some help) building my own hackintosh that would hopefully exceed the specs of the new mac pro while maybe even coming in under the mac pro price. Any experienced suggestions on hardware or things to watch out for would be GREATLY appreciated.
