Frank was a strange guy. I had the opportunity to meet him twice at MoI concerts. Spent a couple of hours just “ shooting the shit” before one of the concerts…I was surprised he’d take the time to chat with a “nobody” like me.

AFAIK Zappa wasn't really into drugs.

I did recently see a band called the Peculiar Pretzelmen that had elements of a bike in the percussion kit. You can see the wheel here, they also had what looked to be springs from a bike seat off to the other side that were used on some songs too.
