King of New York is in my top 5 list of best movies of all time for 2 simple reasons:

1) Christopher Walken

2) Frank White's brazen and unapologetic penchant for violence.

From jumping out of his limo in Chinatown with 2 guns blazin to killing a police officer at the funeral of two cops. So, if this was the 'reformed' Frank White, I really would like to know the things he did before going to prison. I hope someone in Hollywood rediscovers this movie and decides to do a prequel.

It is probably better when you see it, but this was one of the best of the gangster movies of the late 80's.
