WTF is up with him as a commentator in Pride always talking about himself as if he was an elite MMA fighter. God damn I hate that guy. Why they replaced Bas Rutten as a commentator for Pride with this no talent hack, I have no idea.

Ok, take into consideration they were in the last round (4th round). And I don't know how long those rounds are in that event.

You go 4 rounds with a pro boxer and see how much stamina you have left.

But that 4th blow was cheap. The guy was down for the count already. Just a cheap shot.

i dont really like trigg either. i kind of felt bad for him that he ate that last punch from lawler. but from what the ppl over at sherdog are saying, lawler's been in other fights where he turned to the ref to see if the fight was gonna be stopped and the ref didn't. so he was only doing his part as a mixed martial artist... keep unloading til the ref stops it.

I tried to watch that fight on proelite.com, but the site was too jammed. Good to see free MMA availible. Can't wait for Pride/ufc shows in the future!

It is the ref's job to decide when the fight is over, not the fighter. This isn't boxing where hitting a guy on the ground is illegal.

i beleivfe 1st round is 10 minutes then each round is 5 after that.

so you figure 25 minutes of fighting.

I can't believe he lost. I was led to believe he had a better fist, father, family, and girlfriend than his opponent. That trick didn't work against Hughes either.
