Frank Drake Equation

I attended St. Columban's International School in Carnaxide, Portugal in the early '70's. We had an instructor named Ken Drake that taught physics, trig, etc. and always seemed to be on another dimension or plane. His family trekked to Our Lady of Fatima on a certain date convinced that the day was to be the end of the world and Fatima was the only safe place to be. I am curious if this man was possibly a descendant of Frank Drake. I've tried to access Franks's bio to see if he had kids, but no success. Any input out there?

As far as I can tell, he is a direct descendant of Sir Francis Drake.
