you are correct. we dont hate france. I have been to france and to italy... and like italy soooo much better. wines... meh... not a huge wine fan, so cannot comment on what i am not an expert of. and you are correct again... we hate the french.

Corsica, which was sold to France in 1768 and was still under French rule at the time of Napolean's birth.

even before ruling France, Napolean was a French citizen.

I haven't really spent any time in France, but I absolutely love Italy. I used to live there, and I loved it. in fact, I've been back to visit twice in the past 4 years. the food is incredible, and the country itself is just stunning imo. And Italians are really nice I find.

Not to mention that during a time when a few european countries ruled nearly all of the world (1890s), the Italians had their asses kicked by Ethiopia.
