Well, not really.. but its probably closer to the truth than we think it is.. France is saying they will work with allies to prevent the U.S. from going to war in Iraq without a 2nd U.N. resolution (Which they would oppose):

Can France be any more useless of an "ally"? When have they EVER supported ANYTHING we have done? It would be an awful shame if a couple of bombs would "accidentally" drop on France... France is irrelevant.. they should go back to their crappy food and let us deal with the problems of the world like we have been for the past 60 years.

I believe we "accidentally" bombed a French embassy during the first Persian Gulf War when France didn't allow British planes to use French air space for flight paths. At least that's what I remember being told.

I took my wife to Paris a few years back, and I was amazed how much the French hate the Americans. I understand why now. they are a communist country. The embrace conmmunism, and tolerate capitalism only if it suits the government and generates wealth for the wealthy. The French are damn near as oppressed as 3rd world countries like Samalya.

you can go hit those touristy places and spend your money, but the majority of the french live in abject poverty. They get a stipend from the government to live on, and pay heavily on anything else they earn to the French government.


Screw France (government) but lets spare the french the hate. you have to see it from their eyes. And when you live in poverty and under government control as they do, it isn't hard to form the wrong opinion of Americans.

They did have a very large resistance that helped us get back our own solders. They did do that for us.

They are socialist. Definitely not communist. They have free enterprise, rich and poor, competition. None of those things would be in communism

Ummmm, no. Majority of the french get along just fine. My GF and her family has been to france several times (and not in the turist-traps) and according to them, they are not poor or anything. Sure there are poor people there (show me a country with no poor people at all), but majority get along just fine
