frame rate slowdown in WinME

Has anyone experienced severe framerate slowdown in WinME? I've been running 3DMark2000 and my scores have literally dropped in half for about 5300 to 2100.

Is this an issue w/ 3DMark2K or WinMe?

BTW, I'm using the Det 5.33 drivers on KT7 w/ Geforce DDR card. Det 3 driver give me problems in WinME but used to work fine in Win98SE

I am using winme, and I don't notice any slowdown. It is not faster, but not slower neither.

(I don't run 3dmark 2000) though

This is realy wierd, I just did a fresh install of WinME again and reloaded 3DMark2K and same thing.

I get a score of 2300 where in Win98 I'd get a score of 5300.

I've come to the conclusion that the problem is with 3DMark2000. I ran Final Reality and my scores are very similar to those in Win98. I also played a couple of games and the extreme frame rate choppiness that I experienced in 3DMark2000 was non-existent.

FYI, I just went to Windows update and it looks like Microsoft has certified the Nvidia 5.32 driver for WinME. The 5.32 drivers are a download on the Windows update page now.

they certified it when people are going for det3 drivers? MS is interesting.
