Fracture....

It wasn't bad....Hopkins' performance was absolutely excellent as usual. His charismatic evilness was just delicious.

The ending was really damn disappointing compared to the amount drama before and leading to the denouement

Yeah, the ending sucked, and the lawyer guy had all the acting talent of a brick. They may as well have just blanked the screen anytime the focus was on him. Pauly Shore could have done as well.

hmmm...I will have to see about this one. Hopkins is one of my favorites.

Who drives that Porsche I see in the previews?

I would guess Hopkins, he had some sports car he was driving. Lawyer guy was driving a BMW.

I thought gosling did an excellent job. Perfect fit for the role. Ending did suck though, I agree.

He wasn't really that bad....not great though. His acting never had much reach though and the drama was always reactionary unlike Hopkins'. I'm just saying that I went for Hopkins, who was in fact the guy driving the Carrera GT 😀

it was okay. I liked that both got what they deserved though. High flying arrogant lawyer with one foot out the door gets embarrassed and loses out on his high paying job and the arrogant killer getting what he deserved. The cheating wife got what she deserved, a bullet in the head. The cheating cop too.

Too much arrogance in this movie, i didn't like any of the characters. Well, cept the lawyer's boss was a nice guy.

SPOILERS:

the movie was too predictable. Once they couldn't find the gun I thought either he switched it with the cop or it was in a secret compartment opened by that giant contraption in his home that he puts those metal balls on. When they showed them reviewing the footage of him going to the getaway house again, it sorta clicked that he went to switch. And when the lawyer was reviewing all those notes and it said double jeopardy, you could immediately tell he was gonna pin murder instead of attempted murder on him. The ending was lame, even my friend thought he was stupid for admitting everything in front of him and it just weakened the movie.

Thanks for putting spoilers in this section too.
