Hi everyone,

I'm looking to pick up a Define R4 from newegg for its black friday price of $80. I have been waiting for a quieter and roomier case without sacrificing ventilation. I will be moving my current parts (2500k, 16gb memory, 1 HD, 650W PSU and 570 GTX) from an Antec 300. My question is if this a worthwhile upgrade.

I'm also planning on upgrading to a 780 GTX so will the stock cooling on the R4 (2 140mm fans running front to back) be sufficient? If not I'm open to alternatives. Thanks for your help.

That is a very nice case and you can't go wrong with that Black Friday deal. I have 2 of them. The standard fan arrangement is adequate for most uses but if you feel you need more airflow you have 4 more fan mounting points for additional airflow. That said I think you will find that two front intake fans and the one stock exhaust fan do a bang up job for most configurations and will remain very quiet doing it.

Yes. Currently running an OCed 2500K and GTX 780 with 0 issues. Amazing case. Get more fans once you get a chance. It will help with cooling. I don't use any fans on the side or top of the case and still get very quiet and good cooling performance.
