Newegg has the Fractal Design Arc Midi R2 for $109.99 and a Arc Midi R2 Black Widow for $156.99. I can't find out the difference in these two cases. Does anyone know the differences?

You mean "Black Window", not Widow. It is the same case, as both cases have the same product number "FD-CA-ARC-R2-BL-W"

.

The case in the middle is the version without a windowed side panel.

I bought my Midi R2 about 2 years ago with Plexi Window for $80 from NCIX CDA when they where going for $64 in the USA - Seems they have upped the price - Great Case - I water cool an i7 2700k running at 4.8 Ghz 24/7 with R9 290X's in CF and 3 Pumps / 280x30x140 rad on top Push and a 280x60x140 Push/Pull rad on the front - 7 Noctua 140 Fans in total. It fits all with minor mods. Mid tower, Heavy, Compact, Quiet and a cool 24/7'r. 36C average for both CPU anf GPU's while surfing and everyday use - Never reaching 70C when Benching (A little noticeable when the Noctua's spun up).

Although I run water it's a great case for Air Cooling.

You will not be disappointed. Fractal Design is better then any Corsair or Bitfenix in my opinion.

The only EGG I have with Fractal, other then their Great Service, is that the Rubber Pads fall off the feet mainly because you can stuff and over weigh their cases - Just refit the pads with LePage's Contact Cement.

I run an XFX 1050W BEFX Black Edition Pro but would say I could get away with an XFX 850W Black Edition Pro - Eat your heart out Seasonic and Corsair for twice your price of PSU's and Cases.

That's my plug for cases, take it or leave it - Fractal Design - All the Way for a Desk Top PC Case.

Sorry about the spelling. I kinda like widow. :DI see now that it is the seller that has the higher price.

Just FYI... I have both a Arc Mini and 2 Define Minis... and I greatly prefer the Define. The Arc isn't a bad case, but no sound damping and a very open case at or near the same price point of a similar Define. The Arc would be a better case if you need room for a radiator, and/or need an open case, otherwise I'd take the Define every day and twice on Sunday.

I'm not saying Fractal Design Cases are end all but they are a great Design allowing you to modify your Hardware needs in a Robust well designed Case, considering the cost of other cases out there.

For the money, Fractal Design PC Cases does the job, over and above any other case builder. Also Fractal Deign Cases look Great with Fantastic Customer Support. You may think they are North American because of their great Costumer Support in lei they are a Scandinavian Company.

Just Simply a Great Product with a very competitive price and Customer Support.

Been there for the last 2 years and I'm Happy. The Fractal Design ARC Midi R2 is the best Mid Tower Desk Top PC Case I've ever owned; considering I'm somewhat of a PC Hot Rodder.

Aside from the loose rubber feet another quirk of the Midi R2 is that the Back Panel could allow more Back Depth for cables but you can squeeze it in considering the number of cables I used in my build - BIOS set Sata RAID (Not AHCI), SSD, 2 WD Black in RAID-0 for a PlayGround and another WD Black for Storage and BackUp Plus a WinTV Haupaugge and Intel NIC - Can you see them ;o)

Fuzzy PIC of a 24/7 4.8 Ghz i7 2700K/CF 290X PC Water Cooled Midi R2 Case but it's all there: She's Small, Cool, Quiet, Heavy and Expremely Dependable. 7 140mm Noctua's (And I could 9), 3 Pumps and 2 x's 280 x XX x 140mm Rads.

Yeah, I'm pretty sold on the FC stuff. Cases for grownups.

I was at microcenter today, I swear to god there was a case almost as big as a kegerator, and it had freakin' fins. FINS.

I also don't get the ground effect lighting fetish.

PC Prices are going "CRAZY ABSURD" in Canada.

Glad I bought when I did. Cheaper to buy from Korea now then with in our own Country let alone from the USA over NAFTA plus our Sales Taxes.

Ahh!! But the BEFX PSUs ARE Seasonic PSUs! How they offer them for less, I wouldn't know. Great PSUs, though!
