So it's Friday evening, I'm high.
My girlfriend and I are having a conversation. She's not the type of girl who was raised as a christian, where as I was (a guy) raised as a christian. She's not knowledgeable when it comes to the bible reated topic, as opposed to myself. I studied the bible as a child and pre-teen, it was how my family raised me. Now I admit, after I saw the real word in my teenage years, I natually got curious and strayed away from christianity. I am still at the place in my life to where I feel like I probably do not believe any of what I was taught when I was young.
She heard about what Mr. Camping had to say. She asked me about it. She was under the impression that everyone was going to die when the "rapture" took place. I told her about how it's really said to go. From my best interpretation of it, and my background as an ex-christian, I told her that Jesus would come back, and take all of his believers with him to 'Paradise", leaving all non-believers behind.
She asked, "Does everyone left behind die?" I told her, "No, but the times on the earth after will become very difficult for those left, nearly in an actual hell on earth type of way." She then said to me, "So basically, Jesus comes and gets his peeps. How long after that does the devil come and get his peeps?"
I nearly killed myself with laughter from her question!
Anyway, if any of this going down tomorrow is real, I'm sure to go to hell for publicly denying my faith with this post to the internet. I'll see some of you there!
Ah... the sweet joy(sin) of marijuana.
