FPS problems: The Witcher

Just got the witcher and already having some fps problems... I don't know why my system should be able to handle it just fine. I even turned everything onto low and still some hiccups while in combat. Any ideas? Thanks..

• 4GB RAM

It's just a poor game engine. I don't even the best hardware can compensate for it.

The Witcher chugged some with an AII 620 and a 5770, and I think it does for everyone no matter the system. I can't imagine trying to play on that laptop.

Pretty much this. With an i7 and 5770, I still had random slow-downs

Christ, I thought the witcher was 2007 game it shouldn't take a monster machine to play it. :thumbsdown:
