FPS Mouse needed: Castor or DeathAdder?

DeatherAdder is a little bit cheaper, but otherwise they seem very similar. Coming from an old MX518, so I'd like to stick to that shape of mouse. Has anybody used or owned both of these and can compare the two more in depth?

I also came from an old MX518 and a G5 v2. I would recommend that you take a look at Rocket Jump Ninja's Top 20 gaming mice. http://www.rocketjumpninja.com/top-20/

I just got the Dream Machines DM1 Pro S for $49.99 (no tax and free shipping in the US) from the manufacturer's site and it's far superior to the old MX518.

I recently moved to the Deathadder after years of the MX518 and subsequent Logitech derivatives, and I like it a lot. You might consider stopping by a Best Buy or two if nearby to see if they have any on display to play with.

I have to see if both are Prime deals on Amazon. If they are, I may just buy both and return the one I don't like as much.

From what I've been reading, the Castor has a slightly better optical sensor. My colleague also has one and says he loves it.

I went from the G700 to the G503, and I wasn't really expecting much to change, but everything felt much more precise even before I adjusted my DPI settings. Now, before someone says, "Well, the G700 is a wireless mouse, you dolt!", I used it with the cable plugged in, which allows it to send all data through USB. It was effectively a heavy, wired mouse.

I think my only complaint is that I kept noticing my DPI setting would get changed. Now, I don't know if I was hitting a DPI button without realizing it, but it would really throw my aim off in games. Fortunately, the DPI settings are fully customizable to the point where you can remove options.
