FPS jerkin in GOW

I run GOW on PC at full details and 1024x768. I have constant 60FPS but every 4-5 seconds I get a very fast lag, like if the game was stoped for 1 ms.
Anyone having the same problem?

E4300 @ 2.7ghz
ATi X1950XT

same here a little longer lag with my 7900 but I just finished the game yesterday after trying to kill Raam about 100 times. The ecstasy of killing him was fantastic though!!! Unfortunately I thought there was more content afterwards since I hadn't played the 360 version, then I read that all the xtra content was mixed into the regular story. Yes, I felt cheated.
