Looking for some advice on troubleshooting an FPS issue that started recently.
Most recently I played a number of games, including 80+ hours into ME: Andromeda. Not a single issue and FPS was consistent with the various test on the internet. Since beating ME:A, I took a break from PC gaming and in that time, installed the Creators Update, applied the typical Nvidia patches and anything else that came up. This weekend I jumped into the Overwatch trial and my FPS was horrible.
Noticed in Afterburner that the GPU was hovering in the 40-50% utilization, temps in the low 60's, GPU clock in the 1800mhz range and the CPU was not overly taxed. The one that that stood out was Voltage limit, not Power, Temp or No load.
To troubleshoot, I Reset the settings in Afterburner to clear any changes, reinstalled Nvidia drivers using the Clean Install option, reboot numerous times, removed all but the necessary apps from my desktop, turned off Game DVR and Game mode.
Where do I go from here besides a reformat of the system?
