I have an Radeon X800 XL. I was having serious temperature issues on the GPU, it was running at over 70 degrees when being worked. I ended up opening the bottom heatsink/fan cover and noticed there was a huge wall of dust block the heatsink vents to the fan. Ever since then, I have left it uncovered and seems to work and temp fine.

Now here is my real question. It seems like when I play Day of Defeat: Source, I am only getting anywhere between 45-60 FPS. Is this common for this video card? It seems awefully low to me. How can I get my card to perform better?

I am not an overclocker so any explaination about OCing would have to be in laymen's terms.

Thanks!
