There is something really wrong lately. It started 2 days ago when i was playing cs 1.6 when out of nowhere, i start getting MAAD fps drops from 99-100 fps constant to 1-10 fps!
However, the drop only occurs when I turn on the flashlight, see/get smoked, or witness an HE Grenade blow up while in game. I've checked everything imaginable. vsync is off, antialiasing is off, fps_max 101, rates, and hardware accelleration!
At first, i thought it was the overclock so i set the clock speeds back to normal, but i experienced the same problem again and again! and its getting ridiculous! could some1 please tell me what is going on..?
I also seem to have an on-off problem with streaming videos that are quicktime. When i stream videos, sometimes, there will be a purple hue and i have no idea how to get rid of it/ solve it!
I could really use some help, and any input would be greatly appreciated!!
