I am looking for an offical post or articles.

That can explain the different of Video FPS and net FPS.

I maybe use the wrong words here. So let me explain what I am talking about.

FPS is the amount of video frames your computer/video card makes per second.

Where Net FPS is how many times the server sends you updates on where everyone else is located in the game. This does not have to be ping or latency. Seeing this can be different.

I remember these old setting in the game Counter-strike back when I was 56k there was a lot of tweaking of your NET FPS setting VS your FPS and a lot of articles about what works best.

I just was looking for some information on the different types.
