fps and benchmarks low

i was wondering if my score may be a little low in 3dmark 05 and possibly other games
in 3d.. i scored 2356
but my friend with a 754 system and an agp card got around 2600
my main guess would be my crappy psu has a part in it but, or are these scores normal?

PSU wouldn't affect 3dmark scores.

yes but those were done with everything on high and higher resolutions

but here they tested it on default settings and at 1024x768 (which is what i ran it at) and scored 2994, the highest i can get at those settings is 2537 and thats oc'd.

problem solved!, for some reason i was running really old drivers so i updated them and now can get 3530 oc'd
