FP Monitor Comes on Then Goes Off in 2 Seconds

I have a 2 year old Princeton 17" FP monitor that has worked fine and without issue until just lately. Upon powering up, it will display correctly for 2 to 3 seconds and then go back to black. Turning the power on the display on and off the FP will repeat the 2-3 seconds of working and then shut off.

I have tried with several computers to insure it was not the display card, but the problem persists.

What would you guess would be the problem with the unit?

Try replacing the cable.

does the monitor just go into stand by (light might change from green to orange) or does the monitor turn completely off?

Press the source button (if you have a dual-input monitor).

Sounds like the power supply inside the monitor is toast.
