FoxConn PSU...worth it?

Picking up a Chieftec case and wanted to know if this psu is junk or what. It's mixed opinions in the reviews. Does anyone else have experience with these? Of course I could buy it w/o and get the psu separate but it would raise the price.

I've been looking at getting the 450W version of the Foxconn (AKA Allied) power supply myself as a replacement. So far everyone I have spoken with consider them good quality power supplies at a fraction of the cost of a similarly spec'd Antec or Enermax.

I have no idea, you could go read some of the user comments about the 450W version on newegg. Someone might have commented on the sound.

Turn your speakers' volume control to the one o'clock position and listen to this a few times. Trust me, afterwards ANY power supply will appear to be nearly silent! 🙂
