FoxConn P9657AA OC trouble

I just put together a new system with the specs in my signature and I am having a very odd problem with OC'ing even though I updated the Mobo to the latest bios.
I set the RAM to 533MHZ and the FSB to 266 and my RAM is running at 712MhZ, anything beyond this FSB I'd either not see my SATA drives or the unit will just refuse to post.
According to CPU-Z and bios my CPU is running at 2.4GHZ and RAM at 712GHZ with a 3:4 ratio, I tried so many settings in the DRAM control in bios but anything other than 533 and auto timings the system will not even post at anything above 233MHZ FSB.
My goal was to hit 333 FSB after reading some reviews about the board easily reaching this but it seems there is either something I am doing horribly wrong or I will not get anywhere close to this unless I get some PC1066 RAM which seems odd to me since none of the reviews I read used that kind of RAM.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. Forgot to add my CPU is running at around 28C idle and 35C under load so I'm almost certain it isnt the CPU limiting my OC.

Update:
First I'd like to appologize for putting this in the wrong forums, I did not realize there was a MB forum at first.
After realizing there was a MB forum I found a thread on how to mod the e4300 to it boots at 266MHZ normally hence certain MB's one of which is mine can do a 1:1 ratio, sure enough I soon was at the closest canadian tire and picked up a defogger kit and 10 minutes after popping it open I am at 333FSB with 667MHZ RAM and 3.0GHZ CPU with stock cooling.
I ran CPU burn in for about 30 minutes during which my CPU temp went up to ~43C and thats with 0.1V up and normal voltage on everything else, system is next to silent.
Thank you all who posted these great tips on these forums and please remember that I am in no way guaranteeing such results with a simple OC and CPU warranty is 100% void if you mod like I did.

Foxconn's usually aren't the greatest boards, in my experiences, but yeah man sounds like the BSEL mod worked great for you! Enjoy your speedy new rig ;).
