The lone review mentions a fan whine, slight but noticeable. That is different than my Foxconn AT-5570, which does not have a fan, but heats up enough to corrupt the SSD mounted inside it, over a month's time of 24/7 uptime.

Only a single SO-DIMM slot too, which is slightly wierd, considering that the Celeron 847U is dual-channel, but it probably doesn't affect it that badly.

Ordered, arrives next week.

I have the AT-5250, which is the same chassis; it's fanless. The noise is speaker hiss. I've considered cracking it open again to cut the wire, but never get around to it.
