Trying to figure out what might happen if I install a 45nm Quad-core CPU that has a default FSB of 1333 into this mobo, along with DDR2-800 memory.
Newegg's specs list 1333/1066, but in the Overview, it says that 1333 is supported via overclocking.
Foxconn's specs simply list 1333/1066/800 MHz (FSB).
I'm worried, that if 1333 is only supported via overclocking, that my RAM freq and PCI-E freq may be run out of spec. This is going to be a file/storage server, so I don't really want to run anything overclocked.
I'm trying to decide whether or not I should install an E5200, or a Q8200 into the rig. Wondering if I might need more CPU power in the future. Of course, if I installed the E5200, I could OC easily just by setting the FSB to 266 (1066).
Also, will this board even support a Q8200? I try to look up the cpu compatibility on Foxconn's web site, but it brings up an empty page.
