Building a new I7 setup. I really like the looks of the Foxconn BloodRage GTI but I have never used Foxconn before. I run everything stock and was wondering how good or bad is foxconn?
I read several reviews on it and decided to order it earlier today to replace my pathetic gigabyte x48 mb and move up to i7. I like the fact that you can use 775 hsf's instead of trying to locate 1366 mounting hardware. I also ordered a 920 and some crucial ballistic ddr3 to go with it. I hope to have it installed sometime Monday unless it should manage to come in on Friday and I should get time over the weekend to make the swap.
I dont think it makes sense unless you're over clocking. Which is what that board is geared towards. And even then I would be looking at other options. Running stock I'd go for the Asus P6T.
any of the i7 motherboards are fine at stock settings..ive built 2 systems with the foxconn boards for friends and both run flawless, even some o/clocking is fine..if your building a case with a window these foxconn boards are great looking..nothing wrong with them at all...
