My wife has been watching this show, and for the few minutes ive seen it, I swear that they are lip syncing. I think they record their songs first, then lip sync while they perform


anyone else seen this and think that?
 
I personally went to the TV taping (in downtown) of it and they weren't lip synching. However, I can't believe people watch this crap.
 
I caught it sometime last week, but they're not lipsyncing...at least I don't think they are. for instance, if the guy that sang like Elton John had prerecorded it, would you still think that his falsetto was so weak? And some of the other people flat-out stunk.

Interesting show though, I suppose, if they have good people on.
 
Anyone remember the earlier series where this one spun off from? It was called Your Big Break and it was hosted by Carlton from Fresh Prince. I think it was a WB show, but not sure what network it was on.
