Fix your title...re-signs, not resigns.

Back on topic...sexual harrassment is bad only when it's done by the democrats...

If we don't get tax reform soon this man might die and only be able to leave $5,000,000 to each of his children untaxed. The rest would be taxed at 40%.

Imagine how unfair that is to little Bill O'Reilly Junior. It is a cruel world for the rich indeed.

Well yea he sexually harassed multiple women yet he was only fired recently. Look at Rush Limbaugh, he's shown that as long as you keep the sheeple drinking the kool-aid, you can do whatever you want and still have a job.

I guess Fox News not really concerned about sexual harassment. So I guess this means Harvey Weinstein can go to 2 week rehab and go back to making movies.

Fox basically said Bill is a big star and we want him back.

They'll probably hire Weinstein as an executive producer for Bill since birds of a feather flock together. Its only news when a D is caught breaking the law and R's get a free pass on Faux News. How can anyone who claims to be a conservative support a news agency like this? Next all female staff will have to wear bikini's and visit tanning booths on a daily basis before they can appear on air.

I don't know that this is much different. You think the movie biz didn't know that Weinstein was a creep? Or Cosby? These guys don't get crucified until the public has found out.

The difference is that Weinstein and Cosby aren't about to reclaim their former glory. At Fox News, they practically see sexual harassment as a badge of honor.

It's weird how often one has to respond to the "both sides!" nonsense by reminding such idiots of how conservatives reward their own sexual predators while liberals excoriate, punish, and generally remove their's from public life.

such good people, these godly conservatives. Let's watch them defend Bill.

Oh I believe that Fox has a particularly troublesome relationship with sexual harassment and ethics as a whole.

But I'm not sure about reclaiming his glory. The article might be misleading. It is stating that Fox extended his contract knowing about a sexual harassment settlement. But this is before things went public with him, and he has subsequently been canned. This article is about something that happened before all the public hoopla but whose details were recently found out. In this way, the situation is analogous but not equivalent to the Weinstein and Cosby examples.

Interestingly, forward policies on the problem of violence against women are plenty embattled (NFL DV policy, Title IX). It seems everyone wants a world where guilty people always get punished and innocent people always go free. I do to, but I don't hold much hope that it's possible.

Sexual harassment claims about O’Reilly had been made public numerous times in the past though?

Weinstein is a dirty godless liberal. Bill O is a good man with a few flaws who asks god for forgiveness so it's all good.
It's been comical watching people like Hannity go on and on about Weinstein and that Obama and Clinton took so long to condemn him a week after having Bill O on his show.

The claim in the settlement is
repeated harassment, a non-consensual sexual relationship and the sending of gay pornography and other sexually explicit material to her,
Isn't a non-consensual sexual relationship rape? Also as part of the settlement plaintiff had to destroy evidence.
I don't fault women for taking the settlement hard to walk away from $20 mil but what if other women have a claim? That evidence isn't available to them.

Not sure what the answer is.

I am not credible as a witness here. I do know that this is generally true, but I'm not sure what tipped the scales. That pattern seems consistent in these kinds of things.

To this day I don't understand why Fox News doesn't lose their female audience. Maybe one of you Trump whisperers can explain.

It's an evil liburl smear campaign he was willing to pay $32M to go away in order to "spare his family" the difficult ordeal of litigation.

Alex Jones must be loaded. Seems like so many banana republicans have been consuming his protein shakes in quantity, for years.
