That's what you got out of my post? Where did I say anyone was worthy or not worthy of being disrespected? And honestly - who really cares if you're respected or disrespected by a buffoon anyhow?

Hell, I don't think it's about race personally - as Boomer indicated above, it's likely anyone that he doesn't consider monetarily important.
I was just getting clarification. It makes a difference when that buffoon is President of the United States

Yup. Probably more specifically: Anyone that isn't monetarily important to him.

Even then, I suspect he only sees them as useful to him...once they cease being of use...

Birtherism originated out of Hillary's camp in 2008.
Wong.

The snopes article is rather good and traces it back to well before the Clinton would have any beef with Obama. It seems to probably originate on the website FreeRepublic.org an alt-Right forum.

Housing discrimination against blacks? LOL Riiiiiiiight.
Yes right.

from Wikipedia:
Testers from the New York City Human Rights Division had found that prospective Black renters at Trump buildings were told there were no apartments available, while prospective White renters were offered apartments at the same buildings.[33] During the investigation four of Trump's agents admitted to using a "C" or "9" code to label Black applicants and stated that they were told their company "discouraged rental to blacks" or that they were "not allowed to rent to black tenants," and that prospective Black renters should be sent to the central office while White renters could have their applications accepted on site. Three doormen testified to being told to discourage prospective Black renters by lying about the rental prices or claiming no vacancies were available.[34][35] A settlement was reached in 1975 where Trump agreed to familiarize himself with the Fair Housing Act, take out ads stating that Black renters were welcome, give a list of vacancies to the Urban League on a weekly basis, and allow the Urban League to present qualified candidates for 20% of vacancies in properties that were less than 10% non-White.[36][37]

Elyse Goldweber, the Justice Department lawyer tasked with taking Trump's deposition, has stated that during a coffee break Trump said to her directly, “You know, you don’t want to live with them either.”[9]

The Trump Organization was sued again in 1978 for violating terms of the 1975 settlement by continuing to refuse to rent to black tenants; Trump and his lawyer Roy Cohn denied the charges.[38][39][40] In 1983 the Metropolitan Action Institute noted that two Trump Village properties were still over 95% White.[41]

In 2008 a Clinton staffer started the birther story. This was well known fact, today the tech companies try and bury it. A staffer was fired from Clinton's team for bringing it up, but that is the origin of the birther movement. Don't like it? Talk to Hillary about the people she hires.

The other part, the black housing thing, is a joke. Like Trump had anything to do with that, like he's the one working on the applications for people living in his buildings. I'm sure there are multiple layers of management and other workers handling that. And those quotes can easily be taken out of context. I'm sure Ben Carson and Candace Owens support Trump because he's anti-black. Don't be so easily fooled.

White men no college: 48% Yes 42% No
White men w/ college: 48% Yes 47% No
White women no college: 38% Yes 51% No
white women w/ college: 22% Yes 70% No

Shows that women get smarter with college whereas men almost stay the same ;)

I find that bit interesting. The fact that actual minorities don't feel respected is important but also not remotely a surprise. But the gender-difference is interesting. And that that further interacts with education is a further curiosity.

I don't see a necessary reason why there should be such a gender gap on a question about race. And still less do I grasp the reason why education-based differences would be so much larger for women than men.

You still have not addressed who spent years promoting this racist lie? Was it Hillary or Democrats? Who "invented" it has little relevance.

You are using I have 2 black friends defense? Were you aware backs were used back in the slaves days to whip other blacks. I guess that means the whippers approved of slavery?

Except it is definitely not as we can trace this story from before 2008. It was for example used in the 2004 U.S. Senate campaign by Obama's then political opponent Andy Martin.

You are talking about Mark Penn, and he did not suggest that Obama was not an American he suggested that Clinton use the fact that he spent a large amount of his youth outside of the United States as a campaign point, and got fired for it.

And yes, I believe Trump was very involved in the policies of his properties in the 70's when he was still trying to grow his empire. He is still known as a micromanager, wanting to have his hands personally on every decision.

That was a bs study. In that study, some black names got up to 3x the call back of some white names. All it showed is that it is really random. Again, you question nothing and accept everything that fits in the narrative you've been indoctrinated with.

The left today is full of manufactured excuses of why you can't. The right says there is opportunity out there, you can.

This is a long way of saying 'I don't understand how statistics work'.

Also, it is entirely irrelevant who came up with birtherism. Birtherism is itself a racist lie and one Trump vigorously subscribed to for years, still to this day not apologizing for his lies.

Even if Hillary typed it up herself on her email server it doesn't change the fact for one second that Trump is a racist for running with it.

You are completely right. I fell into the #bothsides trap.
It just causes my ass to tighten to see them continue to spout such easily disproved lies over and over, even after being shown ample evidence that it is wrong. It is my training.

The results aren't surprising. Not because it is true, but because the left's propaganda machine has been working overtime to frame Trump, they've been in full swing for a few years now, it was really kicked up a notch once America rejected them and selected Trump as next leader of the free world. Now they have no choice but to double down on all their pre-election lies, the tantrum rages on for years, the great red spot of tears.

we get it: you're a fucking moron.

Let's not stray too far from the point here. That is that the left fools minorities into thinking that Democrats are on their side, while the truth is the more minority demographics have strayed left in recent years, the worse their lives have become (hello single mother rate). The left fools them, pulls the wool over their eyes. The left says minorities aren't capable enough to make it on their own, so they need a handicap. Liberals come packed with excuses on why you can't and gives people motivation NOT to better themselves while the right says you can do it and there is opportunity out there if you try. That's the plain reality of today.

I wonder how long it's going to be until conservatives retreat to the 'okay Trump's a racist but only because the evil Dumb-o-crats made him one!'

Again, wouldn't it be nice if conservatives could take personal responsibility for just once in their lives? Honestly, one time is all I'm asking for.

Just because you keep repeating a lie, that doesn't make it any more true.

lol "let's not stray too far from the point here..."

/proceeds to jump off the boat and swim across the channel, dredges up the same broken, nonsense, conservative "I'm not the real racist despite always and only supporting all the racists!" garbage talking point that is in no way ever related to "the point."

I don't even know what to say to this level of delusion. Have you ever wondered why there is no such thing as liberal white supremacist? Why ever single KKK/White Nationalism/ultra racists is very conservative?

Democrats might not always get it right, but they listen. They are trying. Republicans open tell them they want to go back to the 1950's when they were treating them like second class citizens.

Here’s an interesting quote from George Wallace. Yes, the guy who made his career saying he would basically die before letting black kids go to the same schools as white kids:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...sm-feared-by-his-supporters-new-squad-attack/

No sir, I don’t regard myself as a racist, and I think the biggest racists in the world are those who call other folks racist. I think the biggest bigots in the world are those who call other folks bigots.

Now who does that sound like? Lol.
