I really was offended by Foley?s lame excuses. He blames his gay actions on mental illness and booze. Did the republicans, mostly Karl Rove, think up the idea of blaming gay behavior on drug additions (booze) and being mentally ill? Foley?s just a gay man, playing a straight man, and a pervert on top of that. No one other than himself is to blame here!!! And WOW that Blame Game that is coming down?

You know, if those creepy Karl Rove-like republicans would just let gays marry and give them the credit for a moral people (that they are), then maybe Foley would have found that "special" man and settled down to a normal satisfying life, instead of pretending to be straight, a hetro and screwing up his mind living lies to conform, while chasing after kids for sexual relief.

I always believed treating gays as humans and letting them marry, have families and be open about it, that in itself would moot the whole issue with the so called right. And then people like Foley would have NOTHING to blame his actions on. He?s would just be a grown man chasing after teens. Its certainly NOT a ?gay? thing.

i wonder how many clueless citizens actually bought into that "error" made by fox and now actually believe that foley is wunn'a them thar "damn demoncrats".

I'm still waiting for them to find (or "find"--emphasis on quotes) a couple of pages that were inappropriately IM'ed by Democrats. Even if it turns out to be total fabricated bullsh!+, they'll get that meme out there:

"See, those Dummycrats are doing it too! HUH HUH HUH! NYUK NYUK NYUK!""

for the blind sheep to hear.

(or are you guys on the right waiting a couple of weeks before you spring that?)

Yup... I really hate bias in the news.

You're welcome to start your own thread, though I realize your attempt to distract from this particular issue is the standard Republican response to evidence of your own crookedness.

Florida state party officials Monday chose state Rep. Joe Negron to replace Foley on the ballot. Despite the controversy, Negron expressed confidence that he can win the seat.

"This is a 60-percent-for-Jeb-Bush House district," Negron said.
So who exactly are Republicans voting for . . . Jeb Bush, George Bush (who got 54%), Mark Foley (who usually gets low 60s), or Joe "vote for Foley but you aren't voting for the creepy guy you're really voting for a sheeple Republican you've never heard of" Negron?

You are such a hack.

From your link..

CNN's official statement said, "Upon seeing this unfortunate but very brief graphic, CNN senior management immediately investigated. We concluded this was a technical malfunction not an issue of operator error."

On the air, CNN's director of technical operations explained to Kagan that at the end of Cheney's speech, the plan was to "have a CNN logo up on the screen and use that as the way of getting back from the speech back to you on camera and one of the many graphics we use here at CNN."

"A majority of graphics we use on the air, we use as a big X to identify at what point should the tape be cued up," he said. "This is the X you see in the control room, but it is never meant to be seen on the air."

Looks like a mistake by the guy who was putting it up on the screen to me. I was expecting to see a video cap of OREILLY calling this guy a democrat for reasons of previous political decisions or something.

Faux has done far worse than this people...

But already knowing it's history of intentional dishonesty and complete lack of ethics, I'm certainly not sure it was a simple accident. Either way, big deal.

They're reporting. This is where we decide their FOS. Again. ;)

Correct me if I am wrong but hasn't this type of thing happened before?

Heck what about CNN leaving the Mic on when reporter went to bathroom?

Mistakes happen. Shame on Fox though for making such a big mistake. They just reenforced the belief on the left that FOX is anti-Democrat... oops

you are such a right-wing parrot it's disgusting.
As if this board doesn't have its share of left wing parrots... isn't Harvey's avatar a Parrot ?? hmmmm

Hahahahahahahahahahaha... Hypocrite.

"Oh oh oh... Look at what Fox did! Nevermind that CNN did it too. Nevermind that CBS ran with obviously fake documents right before the '04 elections. Yup, what matters is THIS mistake and this mistake only. You know, cause it's FOX. And they're biased."

Perhaps if we put all the people responsible for these mistakes on either side of the ledger before the firing squad everybody will be happy, no?

The penalty for error must be death if it offends me and if you will grant me the death I want I will give you yours. Maybe the news people will sharpen up too. :D

Sorry, maybe I got carried away but I just think that people who pull stuff that offends me ought to die and I would rather just have Mommy and Daddy beat them to death.

Sh!t, no wonder I don't like looking in the mirror.

Nevermind that Bush used obviously fake documents to justify going to war with Iraq.

Also, CBS's fake documents were still accurate despite being fake, can't say the same about Bush's documents.

So let's put this to bed shall we.

BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAhahahahahahahahahahahaha... I haven't laughed that hard in weeks.

I'd be happy to let it go but I suspect that many on here can't. When CNN or CBS or anyone else messes up... "Meh." When it's Fox... "ZOMGWTFBBQ!!!!111!11!!one!!"

Oh no, a mistake!

I don't recall much outrage from the libbies here when CNN blanked out Dick Cheney's face with a big "X" several times.
