Don't believe that Trump and his Administration has anything in the people's best interest at heart, ever, about anything.

Restriction on knowledge and education will do that to any society.
There is hope in the free flow of information though, why it is important that it is government backed! With initiatives like Kahn Academy, upcoming AI teachers and diplomas actually worth something (take an exam, get a small tax break?) this could make a difference.

That's a pretty nifty little system you have there, the Catholic church set up the same thing a long time ago and has done well with it. Be careful with your definitions being to specific, or you'll have trouble when you start elevating your saint equivalents.
