Go away now. Mathews has been very pro-republican the last 8 years. Even when he disagreed with the war he hardly pushed his pro-war guests to explain their bases.

You are wrong. YOu know why you are wrong? Because you clearly have not watched mathews for the past decade or so. So, why are you arguing this point?

Why dont you tell us what you really think Chris

Yep, he is such a pro-republican, I can bet with certainty he is voting for McCain.

All you just showed there was that you didn't read his post, soldier. Attention to detail.

I don't know what to do with these morons.

I say: Sure Chris Mathews seems infatuated with Obama, but that's only because Obama fits his model of an ideal candidate as laid out in various books he's written.

I say further: However, he's been very pro-republican in the past, and especially pro-McCain.

Nick/Ry say: Um, but he's pro-obama so he's a democratic hack

I say: Shut the fuck up you are stupid :)

Or NBC? The network that used to censor their anchors when they were going to criticize the war?

OR you must mean the Celtics Big 3. I'm pretty sure they are democrats.

Do we really need to talk about media bias again? I think this forum has the memory of a goldfish.

And of course, with Faux being the "fair and balanced" newsies they are, will allow themselves to continue to be used in this way with a Democratic administration...

Clearly, American news organizations also have an anti-Osama Bin Laden bias. Almost every American news report I view or read that mentions Bin Laden paints him in a negative light. And the networks are also all anti-Jihadist and anti-Al Qaeda.

How come American news organizations don't report on Bin Laden, Al Qaeda, and Jihadists in a more balanced way? Where are the pro-Al Qaeda pieces?

American news reporters are all just pro-American hacks.

To repeat what I said that already showed PJ wrong:

Let's face it, the White House isn't in the habit of sending 'talking points', however wrong, to other networks as part of how they get their message out.

They'll put out their points, which other networks report on as White House statements, and can question the accuracy of the points.

Great, so FNC and MSNBC are non biased news sources, thanks for clearing that up for us....

I notice Fox is getting really desperate lately. If their propaganda was hard to believe before, now it's blatantly obvious. You can just see how desperate they are to dig up something on Obama.

I also notice that hardly anyone of any credibility goes on there for interviews anymore, except card-carrying Neo-Bushite chickenhawks, and bloodthirsty warmongers and war crimes apologists. Oh, and occasionally you get some kook promoting their self-help book. E.g. "How Je$us can help you lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks!"

Disclaimer: Don't assume I blindly follow CNN or anyone else.

That's not what I said. People have brought in nearly every major news source by this point.

on the other hand, it seems like Fox is the only network willing to say anything remotely possibly maybe negatively about Obama.

Since Ted Kennedy called Obama Osama Bin Laden...does that make him a Fox news anchor?

I hope a copy of his "private prayer" doesn't accidentally fall out of his pocket.

It's good to see that he doesn't want to turn his visit "political" by visiting our wounded troops, he may have been offended because he couldn't take his 3 friends and their camera crews with him.

We know our military supports him, after all all those fallen hero's go to all his speeches.

I think he'll make a great president.

another media bias thread.

If the White house sent the same "talking points" out to Fox's news competitors then there isn't an issue.

how many of you folks believe that to be the case?

It can't possibly be the case that one was accidental and the other a smear - given Ted Kennedy's endorsement of Obama and Fox's long history of similar smears.

Wow, I watched that video, then I watched the apology that was linked right under that video.....Apology and explanation

With your obsession with Fox News, I'm surprised you missed that. Better luck next time.

I'd have to see the fuller context of the original, but it sure didn't look like she was dismissing or criticizing the 'terrorist fist jab' description, but quoting it as 'one interpretation' people have, as if any of them might be reasonable. Her apology was simply for people misunderstanding her as saying it herself rather than propagating it, and backing off the innuendo. Not much of an apology.

Bush has gone to how many soldier's funerals for the men he's gotten killed in this unnecessary war?

Oh ..

For some reason it's political suicide to pay attention to our wounded servicemen, and I think it's time for that to change for everyone, R or D.

Thats what so disappointing about McCain. He voted against increasing Veteran War benefits from 2002-2007 and now is touting that he was VERY supportive of Jim Webb's legislation to increase the GI bill. And originally he was one of the strongest OPPONENTS of that bill. He is just a flip-flopper like everyone else.

First, that's an old trick stating "people say" that way the idea is spread out on the air.

Second, if other people are saying this, "who are those people"?

The "terrorist fist jab" was probably a WH talking point but this chick not bright enough to be more subtle.
