I'm not defending Fox or anything, but I saw the same story on Yahoo news yesterday. So it wasn't only Fox. I guess it's possible for any news channel to fall prey to a deliberately told lie.

I could not find that. Sounds like it was a posting about the fox story. Yahoo/Google/etc... usually just post others stories. Hence why a lot of media companies are mad at them.

It was George Bush's and/or Sarah Palin's fault.

Everybody know this.

Have you ever posted anything where Huffington Post got their facts wrong? I highly doubt it.

Don;t read H.P. or any other site alone. I usually read what i find at news aggregates. If you find something as dumb and funny from H.P. then please post.

Also just in case there are fox viewers here that don;t get it. They believed the LAPD with a annual budget of about 1.4Billion (thats for all the officers, equipment, etc...) was going to spend a billion dollars on 10,000 jet packs when they only have 10,000 officers to begin with. So the money and number of packs alone should have said this was BS. But hey lets not let a scope get by. :p

Sounds fair. I must admit I never read the article since it didn't interest me but it does sound like somebody dropped the ball big time.

It is LA, though. If even one of the 10,000 officers didn't get their own jet pack they would probably file a discrimination suit (and win). So, 10,000 jet packs for 10,000 officers does make sense.

Lois said it best on Family Guy last week- "If it's on Fox News, it's a lie. Even if something is true and they report it on Fox News, it becomes a lie."

Foxnews can't hire factcheckers, it would get in the way of their agenda.

Looks like the Fox and Friends talk show was fooled, rather than "Fox News"...

Yet THAT didn't stop you from coming in here and posting your politically biased outrage.

So, 10,000 jet packs for 10,000 officers does make sense.

From your Bozo Bunker of Bias, I'm sure it does.

Go NOT read another article and then post your asshole talking points, why don't you?

Yes, Fox is biased. Fox news is a propaganda organization for the GOP. Only idiots who think the MSM is part of some LIBRL conspiracy don't understand this.

http://www.newser.com/story/101566/fox-payroll-stocked-with-gop-2012-contenders.html

"If you're a Republican 2012 hopeful, odds are you're getting paid by Fox News. The network has Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, and Mike Huckabee on its payroll (the only noticeably absent bigwig is Mitt Romney), and that raises two tough questions, Politico muses: How do you cover would-be presidents who are also employees? And how, if you're another network, do you cover would-be presidents who are contractually barred from appearing on another network?

“It is all new territory,” said C-SPAN Political Editor Steve Scully. Palin “will not do any other interviews. We’ve never had to deal with this before.” Fox told Politico that hopefuls will have to cancel their deals as soon as they declare their candidacies. But in the meantime they’ve got an "unparalleled platform" to talk to their party, and they might delay their announcements to keep it. “The longer they can remain ‘undecided’ about running, the longer they can stay at the network and get paid,” said an aide to one potential GOP candidate."

Is Fox and Friends even part of their news outlet, or are they commentators?

Either way, every news outlet screws up facts. AP gets shit wrong all the time too. Fox News posts reports from AP and get slammed for being biased.

Fox News is biased, but that doesn't make factual reports incorrect.

There, I think I covered all the main Faux News arguments.

Go NOT read another article and then post your asshole talking points, why don't you?
I'd like to ass you a few questions!

This is the best CNN can find to report on? No wonder they can't get anyone to watch their channel.

I think the problem is that you are confusing news shows with opinion shows. You would be in the same category as the people who depend on comedians (Beck, Stewart, Maher, etc.. ) for their "news".

The ignorance you all are showing is astounding.
