Fox News busted

B

Blackjack2000

Not a surprise, but let's see if anyone notices. This seems like a pretty significant leak in terms of Fox's credibility.

It seems related to the ironic observation made by someone else that Iraq actually caused a regime change in the United States. It also begs the question: why do we care what the insurgants think?

Are we there to antagonize the insurgents as much as possible, or defuse the violence?

The only ones that gave Fox "credibility" is Republicans.

For them to say "Just because the Dems won The War On Terror is not over" shows the fabrication on the part of not just Fox but the entire GOP machine.

Fox has credibility? Well if true, it surely shows the sort of journalistic environment over at FNC. "Make the news, not report on it," is apparently how they misunderstood the old phrase.

That's not what beg the question means.

Thank you!

I can't even remember the last time I heard someone use that phrase correctly.

Big deal? Everyone and their mother knows FOXNews leans right (even though their actual news reporting is fair, their talk shows are all conservative), what's the big deal? Can't handle a conservative channel on tv?

I guess it isn't a big deal if you don't mind being manipulated.

But all shows do that to some degree, FOX just doesnt bother hiding their agenda.

I don't mind it, in fact I watch it regularly. And yet I still don't think it should be claiming to be "fair and balanced." It's one of the most biased news channels I think I've ever seen. I think that's the apparent disconnect here. That FNC claims not to be biased and yet they are.

The conservative out of the mainstream media can't get over the fact that all their propaganda didn't save GOP this time.

This memo clearly ordering their staff to hunt for biased news stories. In this case look for news that supports our conclusions, not the other way around...

Yup, only Fox has bias in their news to report.

CNN does the exact same thing. Trying to burn Charlie Sheen, over his view of 9/11, is a good example. A lot of people refused to bow to Anderson Cooper 360 and other CNN shows that were looking specifically for people to slander Sheen. I don't recall the show's name but one that dared to show balanced debate was put into a crap slot and replaced by a NeoCon's program. I can look up names if that's necessary.

Just in case anyone was wondering if Fox was alone in this. I wouldn't trust big media to objectively report on the color of sh!t, much less what matters.

If you ever read the WSJ, with rare exception . . . it's News followed by CLEARLY marked Editorial/Opinion.

The same is true at CNN . . . for the most part. The ultimate issue with Faux is that they utilize no demarcation whatsoever. It's basically biased News followed by ridiculously biased 'news-lite' programming.

Conservative??? Since when is flat out lying manipulation of their reports while claiming they're reporting "news" a "conservative" value?

If that's where your values are, you'd have loved it in old nazi Germany or the Stalinist Soviet Union. :frown:

You're right...that couldn't be the case. Otherwise Dave would be the most conservative person on this board.

Dave is nothing but a whacked out right-wing troll, always has been.

He was a well-known fantical christian right wing poster before going "undercover".

Why do you think everyone ignores him?

If Fox were liberal in it's bias, none of you would care. All news media is biased. If anyone believe that any media is without bias, it's time that they woke up.

Of course they are all biased, they are all owned by corporate monopolies.

Liberal? Feh, only liberal enough to keep people distracted so as to not see them for what they are -long running commercials for their own corporate interests.

fauxnews is just the most obvious about it, being a GOP shilling network that even the most braindead cultists will swallow.

Time to kick fauxnews off the air or put it on comedy c channel or even better: just make it some late night GOP infomercial, this is all it is.
Break up the mediaopolies also. All the networks have been screwed since the 80s.
