I am glad you are on these forums, that way I don`t need to subscribe to Comedy Central!! Usually comedy is not as pathetic as you are! I believe you when you say your not scared....but you are pathetically frightened of this 16 year old who has accomplished more at 16 years of age than you have your entire life!!

lol man you guys are just gushing all over yourselves. again i ask why would anybody be scared or frighten of this chick? Im starting to think that you lemmings who toss these words like the ring toss at a carnival are the ones actually scared. so tell me. how has my country robbed her of her childhood, her hopes and dream? Ill be waiting maybe tone down the emotional fits.

I would not have an issue with that. She seems to be intelligent and willing to throw herself into something I thinks she believes in. I don't agree with her entire message and I think she has been well coached in her presentation. Maybe a bit too much drama for my taste... whatever.

I also think the people that are attacking her personally are deplorable. That is wrong. Attack the message if you disagree, leave the kid alone.

It's that last part that gets me. People like Slow make clear they think it's her autism, or her age... er, no. If you have a beef with her, it should be about her message, and it's generally a good message: we need to take more action to reduce our effect on the climate.

I think what I'm most pissed about is that scientists can pummel us with endless SCIENCE and FACTS about climate change, yet it takes a little girl with a drama coach scolding us to get some folks to listen. I just wish we would attack problems with more rational science and with less emotions.
