It was just a matter of time crazy right wingers would find themselves another enemy of the people. Even if they are just teenagers. This isn't the only Fox News attack on the climate activist.

It seems that your title is inaccurate or should I say false.

Fox News didn't attack anyone.

Granted the guest Michael Knowles did attack her by calling her mentally ill. I felt that was wrong for him to do so and he should apologize for his comment.

Fox News did comment:

“The comment made by Michael Knowles who was a guest on The Story tonight was disgraceful - we apologize to Greta Thunberg and to our viewers.”

Does any of this surprise you?
Look at the right attacking the teens speaking out on gun control.

Morally and ethically bankrupt, POS.

Oh look more Fox News attacks. Here they claim she is practicing witchcraft
Industry-funded climate denier Marc Morano likens environmental activism to “medieval witchcraft”

Oh look more Fox News attacks. Calling Greta an "enemy of children"
Climate change activist Greta Thunberg is a force so powerful that Fox News has finally started taking her seriously—as the enemy of children everywhere.

M.O. of the right, death threats will follow. Same thing that happened to David Hogg (the so called crisis actor)

It's happening all over and for a while. It's rather directed and obvious as well as down right disgusting.

So you can't tell the difference between a Guest and Host.

Got it.

Is that all you've got? You need to try harder.

So, the Host, capital H, isn't aware of who they're Hosting? They don't know who the guest is? What that guest may or may not say? Whether what that guest says is something they agree with or don't agree with?

Whether they should be hosting a guest who is going to obviously be saying certain things?

It's like a Host who invites a neo-Nazi to speak, and then gives them a 45 minute block of time, and at the end says, well, I'm just the host that's not my opinion or whatever!

Does this third-grade, "I'm rubber you're glue" explanation work amongst yourselves, because you KNOW the rest of us in objective observable reality don't buy it.

Christ Almighty the trauma y'all must of suffered to find this acceptable. I'm less angry than I am upset at what happened to you.

as far as fox noise goes there is no difference, they invite them to spout talking points. when they don't counter what is said they are complicit.

I disagree. We all have different opinions. They do not always know what they are going to say.

Did you not read the Fox News Comment:

“The comment made by Michael Knowles who was a guest on The Story tonight was disgraceful - we apologize to Greta Thunberg and to our viewers.”

yes, I read that earlier,

They don't invite guest in a vacuum, they know what their positions are before hand and will have some idea of what they may say if they don't counter immediately on air they should get no free ride, they knew who Knowles is and what he may say.

It's not a coincidence that multiple guests are now saying these things. They need to cover as many time slots as possible with similar vitriolic rhetoric. It's called propoganda, and meant to reach the most people possible. Faux news, the original fake news.

I want to say that nobody is stupid enough to believe that type of propoganda, but the last 10 years in U.S. politics has certainly reduced my confidence in the intelligence of my fellow Americans.

Besides, Greta is the exact type of person Trumpers want as immigrants. From a non-shithole country is what that means...

Careful reading and listening will show you she is also attacked by the hosts. Don't act like creating conspiracy theories even against kids is just a one off of the right. Remember David Hogg? There will be more attacks.

There's a few exceedingly well-known and established tactics of Fox News
a) present opinions as news
b) present incorrect information as fact and later apologize/retract in a much more secretive or quiet manner
c) present a guest who has wildly inappropriate language, opinions, or actions, then later 'very seriously' apologize for that person's actions, either well after the people watching the guest have changed the channel, or in a separate statement entirely

The end result of each of these is the same, a non-discerning viewer who's vote counts as much as yours or mine gets at best incorrect, at worst intentionally disingenuous information delivered to them with no counter-point, fact-checking, or even basic journalistic integrity. There's a reason Fox is a laughing stock.

If you know about the above and continue to defend them, you're a bad as they are. If you didn't know about the above, you're wildly ignorant or at least blind to what's bloody obvious, so which is it?

This girl is everything we humans should be aspiring to. The conservatards are scared. When they get scared they lash out like an animal.
