Fox Halting Production of Arrested Development

nah i think it was just because of American Dad, i dont think they will cancel it, but just not has as many.

its the funniest show on TV, its really a shame enough people arent watching it

I expected this. Arrested Development was funny for the first season, but then it got overplayed. No matter what he do in each episode, Bateman gets screwed and he just puts up with it. It got old starting the second season.
 
Remember and learn from the Ben Stiller Show...just because you can win an Emmy doesn't mean shat. 🙂

As for AD, I never got into it, but it's a funny show...timeslot sucks ass though. They should juggle things around and put it in front/behind of The OC or 24, one of their guaranteed hit shows. Or American Idol now that it's THREE days a week.
 
It's a great show, but FOX is going to destroy it the same way they destroyed Futurama, Family Guy, Greg the Bunny, The Lone Gunmen, Firefly, etc. etc.

I think this show will get cancelled just like family got did, but it wont be brought back
 
OK, first off this is old news, it's been clarified that fox has no intention of cancelling it at this time, in fact going so far as to say it's one of their favorites. Secondly, fox is one of the more generous networks when it comes to keeping something alive despite ratings. AD has been struggling pretty much since day one. The X-files survived initial low ratings. Futurama was around for a long time.

Compare that to NBC which seems to cut a show after one episode sometimes.

See, the problem with that is that Simple Life is a reality show, and therefore good (in the eyes of network execs, at least)

I hope you're right. IMO Arrested Development is far and away the funniest show on broadcast TV, and Curb Your Enthusiasm is its only real competitor on cable.
