I would bet $100,000,000 that one of them is Bill Romanowski. But I don't have that much money so I'll bet $1.

No way that guy hasn't been on the juice his entire career....

THG is an anolog of the steroid family. I got tested for it when I tried out for an Olympic sport. I think all the locker room and fitness center hype of it being an "untraceable" steroid is what brought it down. I'm sure the next family of steroids that come out will be more quiet than THG. All these athletes are looking for an edge that'll make them faster, stronger, bigger. And this time around those that have it won't be so willing to share it.

At least the NFL is doing something about it (suspensions). Baseball will turn a blind eye...again.

I tried out for Skeleton.. I got an invitation to their camp after I made qualifiers. Sadly, though, I didn't have what it took (this year) to make the team. But there is always next year!
(I'm in the red shirt for the skeleton sled push and in the blue sweats for the bobsled push.)

Cool. Props to you for the tryout. That's about 100x further than the average person will take a sport/hobby. :)

Are you sure you were tested for THG? I've been following this fairly closely and I was under the impression that nobody even knew about this stuff (except the athletes of course) until a few weeks ago.

I belive it wasn't even technically illegal until just after this story broke originally. I have a hard time believing that the IOC knew about this and the government didn't

I could be wrong but that's what I've been hearing.

lets see.
- first of all its the RAIDERS the bastion of abiding by rules and clean play for the past 30 years.
- the names of those players dont suprise me at all.

Robbins - i guess in addition to his bi-polarity, alcoholism and now roid rages. he sounds like an upstanding young man.

Romo - thats a given

Cooper - never even heard of him

Stubblefield - aging veteran feeling his career slipping away...and with that; that describes the RAIDERS as a team.

USOC (US Olympic Committee) knew about it in August and it was just in the past two weeks(Oct 28th) that the FDA declared it an illegal drug. The real funny part to this drug testing is that during the Olympics next year, if you test for pot, you are disqualified. However, nothing is wrong if caffeine is present. So - I can see the Red Bull ads and sponsorship coming in now.

Romanowski's a given here...he was a liability in Denver...perfect candidate for Oakland.
