How good are these?
They have a four pin input that takes the PWM state from your motherboard headers and allows a three pin fan to "track" as if it were a PWM device. Anyone use one? If so how good does it work?
 
Meaning: you can choose your favourite 3-pin fan among the millions available, and use it as if it were one of the very few pwm fans available ? Like, I can have a pwm'd Gentle Typhoon on a rad?
I've waited a long time for this. That deserves a big bump.
