To celebrate our move into the new building, our company set up four different buffets on different floors of our building... they all have different "themes", and I'm working through our floor's spread right now.

Fried plantains with roast garlic dip, flank steak with grilled onions and red peppers, mini chicken sandwiches with citrus mayo, cheesecake cups with fresh raspberries, and more...

I've heard there's a "Thanksgiving" theme on the third floor... turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, etc...

No news on floors 2 or 4 yet... Imma go check those out soon...

EDIT:

Floor 2 has personalized grilled cheese sandwiches (bacon/cheese/tomato/add whatever you want), delicious chili, gum balls, make-your-own cupcakes (with frosting/sprinkles/etc.), and brownies...

Floor 3 has turkey, stuffing, wine, mashed potatoes, fresh fruit, mini apple pie slices...

Floor 4 has ring pops, candy necklaces, avocado rolls, pasta salad, and more...


EDIT 2:

They just brought out bottles of champagne on floor 3, and have virgin pina coladas on floor 1... TGIF! :beer::D:wine:

AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH I CAN'T STOP EATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D:D:D


EDIT 3:

LOL... apparently too many people liquored up on the free wine/champagne, and there are drunk/happy employees everywhere. The senior VP decided to let everyone go almost four hours early, at 2:30pm... I'm off in 20 minutes.

Maybe on the 4th floor, there is soul food. Fried chicken, collard greens, chitlins, corn bread. If it is, Im on the way

Bah we never got free food, maybe twice by the customer in the three years I was in that building... damn cost centers.

My mom's company gets free food daily (medical sales) because of customer meetings.

Because of where I work there is always a good amount of free candy around.

Like right now I have a very large box of mini Hershey Kisses sitting near my desk calling my name.
