My dad is an EE and made a deal with his work to work from home on Wednesdays (with a VPN connection). He just lays back, watches Greek soccer on the tv, and once in a while checks his laptop to see if he is needed. :D

I used to love working 4-10's...3 day weekend at a minimum EVERY WEEK! Some holiday weeks, you'd get 4 or more days off...sweet...

5AM - 3PM, Tuesday-Friday right here... they pay for our lunch time, so it's really a 34-36 hour work week. I love it. Now for the rest of the job... :p

I'm on the 9/80. It's a good compromise between really long workdays and really long weeks.

That would be nice......unfortuately my schedule isnt always so nice working at a hospital. Especially with the nursing shortage. I just did back to back to back to back 12 hour shifts(48 hours in 4 days)

I feel like death this morning :(

I work a modified schedule ... 9 hour days (7-4:30 with 30 min lunch), and get every second Friday off. The Friday I do work, I work an 8 hour shift (7-3:30) to make it average out to an 80 hour work week. I have approached my supervisor about dropping the Friday I have to work altogether, and they haven't decided yet.

However, tomorrow, I'm off, and have a tee-time at 7:30 a.m.

You mean hourly wage for shift work, or hourly wage in general?

Agreed, nothing beats compressed work schedules (CWS)!
