Some day I would like to get a soda fountain that dispenses Coke.

My favorite is McDonalds Coke.

Other fast food places have coke, but it is not the same.

Anyone know how they get it to taste the way that it does from McDonalds?

Is the calibration process specific at McDonalds?

Do they have a different syrup/recipe, and if so can anyone purchase it?

hmm...I think Wendy's has the best fountain Coke personally. A little more watered down than McD's, perfect IMO. :D

Its just about the amount of water they mix with the syrup. I'm sure it varies from location to location.

Best coke I ever had was from a Wendys but McDonalds is good too. Some people might not agree but I think fountain drinks are the best (as long as they have the right proportion of syrup and carbonation).

I hear you. I hate most other FF machines, since Wendy's is watered down, Taco Bell cleans their machines once or twice a decade whether they need it or not, and Burger King has a tendency to water their Coke/Pepper down a bit too much, though it occasionally rivals McD's.

My real dream, however, is to get a Code Red dispenser with the syrup being diluted not by water, but by Water Joe... :D :Q:Q

The Mcd's that I used to work for had 2 75gal stainless steel tanks that held the coke, the Mcd deliverly truck brought new stuff every week.

Most all fast food places use boxed syrup now, its easier dispense and store. Different places use different machines and ratios but i think the standard ratio is one part syrup to three parts water (not positive).

<< Root beer tastes so much better from the fountain. >>

Yes it does, but out of the "fountain", it's better without the root...

:D
