Did a search, but couldn't find anything about this...except one person saying this webcam was "discontinued". Otherwise, I'm sure many of you who have this webcam was bummed that 3Com didn't do XP drivers.

Turns out the camera was not exactly "discontinued"...it was sold to Inside Out Networks, and is now being sold under the name Watchport/V.

And these drivers seem to work rather well with the original 3Com webcam on XP. Tip: install the drivers before plugging in the camera (haven't tried the other way, but that sometimes fails...better safe than sorry).

Thanks, I've been using the 3Com Win 2k drivers without a problem.
Are these drivers any better?

Dunno. Never did any comparison testing on XP. I just got this webcam a few days ago (got a great deal), and I saw many posts on other forums I've been to whereas people were complaining they couldn't get the 3Com W2K drivers to work on XP (some could, many couldn't). But in comparison to my Intel Create-n-Share cam (second generation), the 3Com with these drivers is quite an improvement as far as brightness and framerate is concerned...and with the lights out, WOW, what a difference...

Just wanted to give a heads-up

Yea it's a great cam, really good in low light.
I'll definately give these drivers a shot.

I think its the same set as the Win2K ones. I dont see any difference and this set is not certified in XP wich is what I was hoping for.
