Found Two Lost Dogs *found owner*

Well two lost dogs were strolling by my house and I almost hit them with my car as I was entering my garage. Why do I know they're lost? They both have collars on and appear to be in good condition. No tags though.

I fed them a little and gave them some water. They appeared to be a bit famished, though not seriously.

I already got two dogs of my own, and can't really take in anymore. Nowhere to hold them for a couple days while looking for owner. Don't have a car to transport them in. What to do?

*update* Upon closer inspection, one of the dogs did have a tag on it. Number was dead, but google mapped the address and saw it was a few blocks away. Drove to said house and owner picked up the dogs. Two cookies for me!

Ask family/neighbor/friend to watch them until you can contact animal care and control/humane society/owners?

Dinner ? Just kidding haha. (or am I) 😉

No tags on the collars? Maybe put up a sign in your front yard that you found 2 dogs ( so if the owners come around lookign for them they will see the signs)

If you mean that you can't shelter them in your house until tomorrow, when the humane (not the human, lol) society will be open, do you have a garage and a space heater you can place in it in such a way that the dogs won't knock it over?

On behalf of our four legged, furry friends everywhere, I thank and commend you for taking them in, but there are a lot of details in your story (car/no car?) that don't seem to add up.

Failing that, do you have friends, family, or a neighbor who could do so?

Well this is a long shot but can you describe the dogs? My sisters dogs escaped about 4 days ago. And she lives in California as well.

Just a thought, but why don't you describe the dogs that went missing?

speaking as someone whose dog is one of their best friends, you deserve more than 2 cookies... you deserve a whole page of them!
