yeah. i am on non-broadcast with wpa2 and my routerid is not the default one. i also use a 63 character key. and i still feel vulnerable to determined wifi hackers. i can't believe people out there still go unsecure.

When I was in a tram I looked at the WLAN names. Most had boring names like the name of the street, family or the wlan router. However one network was named "WG Porn" (flat share porn). Gave me a chuckle.

Before I decided to actually pay for cable modem services, I was thinking about getting a wifi router and just sniffing for someone's unshared network to leech their internet access.

Odds are in your favor. Of the 11 networks in my neighborhood only 2 are locked down with wap or better.
