Wow - still too expensive, but I'm sure that will change over time.. The 500GB SSD drives are the sweet spot at the moment.

I bought my son a 2TB hybrid drive (8 GB of Flash) and it's been great for everyday computing/gaming/programming. It's a good option if you want something at 10% of the price of a full 2TB SSD.
